Tire Swing

The kids had an early dismissal today so we decided to head down to the Bloom Where You are Planted pumpkin patch. We had a great time! It is a lovely little family run farm and we had lots of fun just exploring the little things to do! Probably one of the favorites was the rubber ducky races. The kids did this for quite some time. Here are some pictures and a video of this fun activity!

We also had fun on the tire swing, having wheel burrow races and of course looking for pumpkins. We even ran into our good friends the Orme family. What a wonderful fall day!

The duck races look like so much fun! I wish I was there to race you guys!

Payton, that is an amazingly, big pumpkin! For Halloween I made beef in Halloween costume & the pumpkin I used was not quite that big, but I still didn’t have a pan big enough to put it in so I had to use a very big stainless steel mixing bowl to boil it in order to prepare it for putting the beef mixture in it before it entered the oven!

Addy, please tell me about the wheelbarrows? It looks like so much fun!

Payton & Landon, how did you get the idea to get into the that giant wheel? Did anyone swing you while you were inside?

Wauryn looks like a serious pumpkin connoisseur! I believe this one will do fine Dad!

Berlynn,is that your very own pumpkin? If you want, I think Momma can teach you & Addy how to make pumpkin pie out of your pumpkin! Great Grandma Tessie Hibbs taught your mommy how to make pumpkin pie when she was younger!
